I had a game idea similar to this (just not in the Japan-style action), and I find it cool. Thank you, lol. I love the pixel art graphic, and it feels like an old computer game. Maybe not what you were going for, but it's still neat.
You should maybe put this on Steam, but only if you want to.
Good Old Games, another game storefront. Notable for DRM-free games and actively supporting the preservation of games, and allowing you to just download the actual game without requiring the installation of a launcher like Steam does. (Though they do have an optional launcher of their own. No idea how well it works, never used it.).
If you search "GOG first cut" you'll probably find the page.
Unfortunately, GOG is also notable for abusively incompetent support with 4 week turnaround on your first reply being normal to expect and I've got a support ticket that I gave up on getting an actual reply to after over 2 years of trying with repeated wait times of over 3+ (sometimes 4+) MONTH delays between replies.
And for shadowbanning game devs from updating their games without any acknowledgement of the fact that they're doing so, and their dev side support being just as bad as for buyers.
This game need a panish system you can dodge everything top panch you can parry everything with an overhead strike, it is necessary that if you strike from a dodge not to block, then you immediately kill the enemy this is not good game design
This is very cool. So i see the steam version on disk is 12MB. This however is 27MB. Can you tell me the differences? Is it steam achievements and leaderboards?
Not sure where you got that number from. The Steam version is 170+ megabytes, has greatly improved graphics and customization, tons of extras like laser swords, more game modes, AI co-op partners and a side-scrolling campaign off of the top of my head. Check out the trailer.

It's been over a year and a half of "coming in the near future"... still hoping to see it available *somewhere* that isn't Steam.

Imho this version of the game feels 200% better tnan the steam version. Gameplay is faster, music is better and pixel art really sets the vibe

The game is pretty hard, but multiplayer could be fun.
It is good game .But I have some advise turn off blood animation please and we need more language .Are you Japanese game developers?
